Every month, we put your book in front of 100 of the most likely readers for it. Across a year, that's 1,200 readers actively browsing for books like yours who see your book. Members on our $100 Champion tier double that to 2,400 readers a year.
This isn't massive exposure. It's steady, monthly visibility for your book in front of the right readers, as a thank-you for keeping us independent.
How we match readers to your book
We don't just blast your book to anyone browsing the site. We match it to readers based on three signals, in order of strength:
- Similar authors and books: If a reader is already engaging with authors or books close to yours, they're the most likely to enjoy your book too. We show your book to readers on pages with those similar authors and books on the website.
- Matching genre: We show your book to readers who are actively searching for books in that genre on the site.
- Target age group: For children's and YA books we can target the specific age groups your book is for.
The goal is simple: bump your book into readers whose tastes already point toward it.

Your Book Boost ad runs in dedicated spots across four types of pages on Book DNA. All of them match your book's targeting.

How it works
Your Book Boost runs every month for as long as your membership is active. The number of books you can feature depends on your tier:
- $50 a year (Supporter): 1 book reaches 100 of the most likely readers each month.
- $100 a year (Champion): 2 books each reach 100 readers a month, or 1 book reaches 200 readers a month. Your choice.
You can swap your featured book at any time. Just email us and we'll switch it out.
Any book counts.
Book Boost works for new books, older titles, and everything in between.
If you have a series, we recommend featuring book #1 even when you have a new sequel out, because most readers won't pick up book #2 in a series cold. But the choice is yours.
